Sucks, I love TRON. Legacy's narrative was underwhelming but Uprising has been pretty cool.

In the current environment (Netflix, Hulu etc.) it would behoove companies like Disney to make the online applications they offer to cable subscribers, also available to those of us out there that do not feel the need for 24/7-800 channels. I think they would be surprised how many people would buy into a streaming service if it was intelligently priced.
These days many TV's can be directly connected to the internet, not to mention the proliferation of game consoles, they are missing out. I use Amazon's TV pass for what I cannot watch for free on a companies website.
I would gladly pay like 20 bucks for a season pass to a show like TRON or Korra not to mention shows like Louie, Breaking Bad, Madmen, etc. At the same time I will not pay the retarded monthly fee for cable just to watch a few shows I like while my money goes to fund shows like fucking Jersey Shore or the plethora of reality shit TV (Housewives of Skanksville etc.). It does suck when good shows like this get torpedoed.
It would require a gigantic change to the way these huge companies think and operate a huge culture change for most viewers as well. I long for a televisoned future with no ads, where shows exist by their merit rather than by the vagary of studio politics and shitty marketing.
Here's my take on the matter.... It would a good reason to end Tron: Uprising. Remember, the events in the show take place in between Tronetrayal and Tron: Legacy. We Tron fans know that it will end with Tron being Clu's soldier and renamed as Rinzler. The series only answers the question: How did he become Rinzler. And since we have Beck mixed in to be the next Tron, how does he fit in to this whole debacle... I rather have them finish it off by answering the question and stopping at there. We don't want another Desperate Housewife situation whereby the main mystery is already solved yet they still continue on, do we?
As for Motorcity, I would only say that it's possibly because Titmouse has another project under Disney and there's where they would focus at. Even so, I'd like one more season because this is as edgy as Disney gets since Gargoyles. And it's not just the looks and the style(which I compare a lot to Jamie Hewlett's style) but there's a story worth digging into. And Mark Hamill doing what he does best.
It's a real shame to see a show as unique as this one get canceled. It really was innovative and IMO was one of the top animated series that was TV last year. With another Tron movie coming out the next few years it makes me wonder why they didn't consider this as another way to hype it up. That's just the way these things go though.

I really want this show to stay on!

That's a shame though, I saw some great concept art by `cheeks-74 and Chris Bachalo (not sure what their rolls were specifically).
