I want 2 share with U here my idea I had 4 "THEM".
....because Im not gonna share any more of my ideas with them to shoot down 2 use later when the smoke clears...I had enough of my ideas ripped by other artist and writers.
As long as short sided and simple minded leaders hold the reigns of these icons that I love so dearly I don't need to bother...I'll just do my idea's 4 myself.

Here is how I pitched it to "THEM".

The book opens with a splash page of
a city street with the sound fx "CRASH!!!!" and
a blood curdling cry for help coming off panel.

page2 panel 1. we see a fist coming off panel
lightning bolt ring on it aimed at us.

panel 2. The ring pops open and a familiar scarlet material
engulfs the panel.

Panel 3. goes black.

Panel 4.we see the same street becoming clear again through
2 eye holes cut into the material....

Panel 5. Next we are zipping though the city at super speed.

Page 3 panel 1. we are now standing in front of a glass building..
the front doors are smashed  glass and blood is everywhere...
no bodies just a reflection...the reflection is of "the Flash."

We see this story unfold from his POV.
"What if" the reader becomes the character in the book.

That was my pitch.
It was to be a new book every month...a new artist and writer
every month...New character POV every month.
It wouldn't effect current  continuity.

Imagine picking up a book and Ur living out a story through
Jokers actual POV...or maybe Big Barda or Etrigan.
I told "Marble" imagine seeing a whole story through Scott Summers ruby quartz lenses or from the POV of Galactus.
How cool would that be?
The possibilities and applications are endless....

"I coulda been a contenda"

Oh well
  • Mood: Sadness
  • Listening to: my tears hit the floor
  • Reading: Nothing from FeCe
  • Watching: the ground get wet
  • Playing: the fool
  • Eating: my words
  • Drinking: my tears mixed with snot and spit

Do it yourself man. You dont need a name attached, own original superhero type character, own world, own villain. Make the reader become this brand new character rather than someone else. Its a neat idea as along as we aint constantly looking through eyeholes framing the page as thats not how we see. Maybe you would be better off pitching to games companies rather than comics.

The novelty is revealing
that it's a known character...

Maybe they just need to see pages, but I think keep at it man. I read the book 'Soon I will be Invincible', a novel that takes place from the super villain's perspective. [link]
Good read, and no established characters or artwork in the book. If that found an audience, you own superhero graphic novel could too. And maybe establishing that book, maybe it will open the eyes of others to get you on board with their characters.

In 3 years, Mr. Adildo will make a big reveal about "FeCe:POV" and claim complete responsibility for this brilliant idea...I'd still love to see it done with your artwork behind it. I think it would be great! Keep slinging the art, my friend. Your time will come...

why not just say Marvel and DC? no need to fear them. Also, companies like that THINK they know what's good, but they only get it right maybe 10% of the time? If your famous they'll change their tune quick.

Hey man I love your work but listen if you ever have any hopes of working for them in the future, I really do suggest you delete this entry it comes off as really unprofessional, no matter how good a pitch is sometimes a company is just overloaded with their other books at the moment, and cant take anymore on. Try pitching it to image comics or something, but dont trash them just cause of rejection, we all see rejection. goodluck
